Barrio Gótico

The center of the Gothic Quarter is the Plaza de Sant Jaume, which dates back to the days of Roman rule in Spain. It was the Roman Forum, and it crossed the two main routes, "Cardus" (today's streets and the Ciutat Bisbe) and "Decumanus" (now Llibreteria and Call streets.)
