These five studies to one or two people are in a beautiful building in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter or downtown Barcelona, ¨ El Born ¨, a few blocks from the Picasso Museum and the famous Cathedral of the Sea, a place with special atmosphere, filled streets.

Barrio Gótico

The center of the Gothic Quarter is the Plaza de Sant Jaume, which dates back to the days of Roman rule in Spain. It was the Roman Forum, and it crossed the two main routes, "Cardus" (today's streets and the Ciutat Bisbe) and "Decumanus" (now Llibreteria and Call streets.)

In the whole district can be seen remains of the wall of defense at the time, as the door of the "Plaça Nova." In this square there are: the Palace of the Generalitat picture and City Hall.
